Harriet’s Organic Hair Salon

When our daughter got married last November, she didn’t want to go through the fuss of explaining to a hairderesser that she couldn’t tolerate hair spray. Nor did she want commercial hair spray affecting the enjoyment of her wedding day. So, having done a Google search for our local area, she found Harriet, who came to the house and did a wonderful job. Since then Harriet has set up an organic hairdressing salon in Stroud, using only organic products and offering her clients a cup of organic coffee, tea or herbal infusion.

Having been twice to have my hair cut, I can highly recommend the expereience. No chemicals to react to, a simple, friendly salon and all at a competitive or even slightly better price than the local alternatives.

If you are not already using organic or natural shampoos, they are well worth a try –  gentle on the scalp and nourishing to your hair. We offer a range to suit most requirements – whether it is for fragrance free products or irritated scalps. We use the A’Kin shampoo and find the bulk bottle lasts a long time.
