This stylish Blueair 3410 can filter the air in a room at a rate of approx. 4.8 times an hour or once every twelve and a half minutes making this unit ideal for a room up to 36m2.
Everything is made for your convenience including Hepa Silent TechnologyTM, one-button speed control, air quality indicator, easy filter change and a whisper silent fan which only uses between 3 – 35 watts (depending on setting), making this also an energy efficient unit, costing less than running a 40 watt light bulb.
Combination Particle & Carbon and Fabric Pre-Filter
The three-part filtration system consisting of a pre-filter (colour: Arctic Trail) which offers the first layer of protection by catching large particles and extending the life of the main filter. Vacuum occasionally or put in the washing machine at 40oC when needed ensuring it is perfectly dry before adding it back to the unit.
The main combination filter uses a layer of activated carbon to filter light household smells including cooking, smoking, pet odours, VOC’s and chemicals while the particle filter removes pollen, dust, dust mites, pet dander, PM2.5, mould, viruses and bacteria.
The term fine particles, or particulate matter 2.5 (PM2.5), refers to tiny particles or droplets in the air that are two and one half microns or less in width. Particles in the PM2.5 size range are able to travel deeply into the respiratory tract, reaching the lungs. Exposure to fine particles can cause short-term health effects such as eye, nose, throat and lung irritation, coughing, sneezing, runny nose and shortness of breath.
HEPASilent™ technology
The secret behind the Blueair’s powerful filtration is the unique combination of electrostatic and mechanical filtration that is known as HEPASilent™ filtration technology. One-button design
No knobs or settings to adjust – one single button to control the 4 modes. Press once to turn the unit on (auto mode), press twice for night mode (low), three times for everyday mode (medium) and press 4 times for boost mode (high fan speed). Press one more time to turn off. This LED light button dim to 0% automatically after 7 seconds.
LED air quality display
The LED air quality indicator (AQI) measured by the integrated particle sensor will change colour indicating good (blue), moderate (orange) or poor (red). The quality of the air is based on the current concentration of fine particles (PM2.5). A great way to see at a glance the status of your indoor air quality.
Easy filter change
When it’s time to change the filter the built-in LED indicator light will glow red. Once the filter is replaced press the button for 7 seconds to reset. It is recommended to replace every 6 months for optimal performance when used 24 hours a day or just rely on the indicator for a built-in gentle reminder.
