Clean filtered water on tap throughout your home

A whole house water filter removes chlorine and organic compounds from all water used throughout your home. If someone in your household struggles with sensitivities or other issues due to additives or impurities, the whole house water filter offers you peace of mind. It also offers more luxurious bathing and finer cooking with cleaner water.

A carbon filter offers clean drinking, cooking, washing and bathing water

The carbon block filter is effective at reducing content of chlorine and chlorination by-products, concentration of toxic heavy metals, phenol, oil products and pesticides. Improves colour, taste and odour in the water.
Due to its block structure the filter also reduces sediments up to 10 microns.

For extra filtering of bacteria, viruses, fluoride and heavy metals from your drinking water we recommend a drinking water filter.

Chlorine removed from all water in your house

Enjoy healthier skin because chlorine dehydrates your skin and it is removed from your bathing water. Have better tasting water with the unpleasant taste of chlorine removed.

The average water usage per day is 150 litres. So for a 4 person household the amount of water used will be about 600 litres. We recommend that the filters are changed every 6-12 months.

The Whole House Standard Single water filter comes in two sizes.

The WHH1 is the smaller water filter that houses one carbon block filter. The WHH2 is the larger water filter that houses two carbon block filters. If you would like a higher flow rate, have low water pressure, a combi boiler or a mega-flow system we recommend the WHH2

The double whole house water filter systems, WHH3 and WHH6 include a choice of pre-filter, heavy metal filter or a fluoride filter. All these filters placed in the 1st pod will act as a pre filter to prolong the life of the carbon block.

The most popular systems are the double systems to ensure capacity, reliability and peace of mind. In general only when space is an issue do people require the single systems.

Whole House Carbon Block

Provides clean drinking, cooking and bathing water.

The carbon block filter reduces content of chlorine and chlorination by-products, concentration of toxic heavy metals, phenol, oil products and pesticides.
Improves colour, taste and odour in the water.

Due to its block structure the filter also reduces sediments up to 10 microns.

Max filter capacity 25,000 L

Replacing the filters

We recommend replacing the filters every 6-12 months or when they reach their filtration capacity, whichever is sooner. Take a look at our Filter Replacement Service tab for peace of mind.

The replacement filter is intended for cold tap water only. After the filter replacement, discard at least 10 litres of filtered water.

Where would I put it and how much room do I need to fit it?

The unit should be located as near to the water feed into the property as possible. On top of the dimensions stated above you must allow at least another 10cm of space below for changing the filters.

Do I need a separate drinking water system or can I drink the water from the whole house system?

The Wholehouse Unit does improve the quality of the water by taking out the more common contaminants. It is removing contaminants from your entire household demand and consequently high water flow. The whole house system is made to remove the most common contaminants from a high flow of water. To remove bacteria, cysts and trace organics, we recommend the addition of a drinking water system.

Who would install the unit?

Full instructions are supplied with the unit and can be installed by someone with good DIY skills. Alternatively a local plumber should have no problem installing this unit.

Is there a water pressure drop when using a Wholehouse Unit and if so, what is it likely to be?

There can be a 5% – 10% drop in pressure depending on which cartridges you have. If you have a megaflow system or already have low pressure a flexible fitting kit can be used. If your flow rate exceeds 5.33 bar (80psi) a pressure regulator must be fitted to reduce the pressure to 70psi.

How often should I change my filters?

The pre-filter should be changed every 6 months. The carbon blocks should be changed every 6, 9, or 12 months depending on how many persons in the household. Take a look at the Filter Replacement Service tab for peace of mind. Should you require replacements earlier please let us know and we will update our records.

Does the whole house unit take out oestrogens?

Activated carbon will remove organic compounds like oestrogen. The main cartridge in the wholehouse units is made of activated carbon.

General Information

Once you have removed the old filters, we recommend running chlorinated water through your whole house filter system for 5-10 minutes before installing the replacement filter.

Bore Holes – If you have a bore hole please contact us for both wholehouse filtration and drinking water system advice.

The pressure requirement for town pressure is 3 bar.
